Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid — Why Both
Ceramides are lipids that occur naturally in your skin barrier and make up a large share of what holds it together. Levels drop with age, sun exposure, and over-cleansing. When they do, skin loses water faster and reacts more easily to everything you put on it.
Hyaluronic acid is a humectant — it draws water into the skin's surface and holds it there.
Neither works as well alone. Hyaluronic acid attracts water; ceramides stop it escaping. That's the pairing, and it's the same in all three products here.

The lightest texture. Absorbs in seconds, no shine. Oily skin depletes ceramides faster than most — frequent cleansing and acne actives both strip them — which is why it often ends up greasy and irritated at the same time.

The default choice. Light enough for morning use under sunscreen, substantial enough for evening after exfoliating. For combination skin it's the sensible single product rather than buying two.

Ultra Rich Moisturizing Cream — Dry Skin · 237ml · Rs. 875
The richest texture, for skin that stays tight and flaky regardless. Creates more of an occlusive layer to slow water loss overnight, and doubles as an overnight mask. Comes into its own in winter.
Best for: dry, very dry, dehydrated and mature skin
Why Every Skin Type Needs One
- Oily skin produces more sebum when it's dehydrated. Hydration regulates oil production over time rather than adding to it.
- Dry skin is typically short of ceramides, which is the cause rather than the symptom — replacing them addresses the actual problem.
- Acne-prone skin heals faster and breaks out less when the barrier is supported between exfoliation sessions.
- If you use actives — glycolic acid, niacinamide, retinol, vitamin C — ceramide replacement is what makes them tolerable enough to keep using.
Where It Fits
Morning: cleanse → serum → moisturize → sunscreen. SPF always goes last.
Evening: cleanse → Glycolic Acid toner or retinol → moisturize. Wait 3–5 minutes after the toner.
Apply to slightly damp skin — the hyaluronic acid has more water available to draw on.
