It is sunscreen, it uses zinc oxide as the primary ingredient to avoid sunburn. It is literally the whole point of the product to create an external barrier to protect skin. It would be like rating baby oil one star because you got sunburnt 😂😂😂😂 This product works well. I am extremely sensitive to the sun and often get sun rashes.
